PureWay provides safe, simple, and eco-friendly sharps disposal through our mail-back systems. We make it easy for individuals to properly dispose of used needles and injection waste right from home.
How does the process work?
Order your PureWay mail-back system and keep the white box it arrives in. Place your used needles or injection waste in the container, and once it’s full, seal it, put it back in the same white box, and use the pre-paid USPS label to send it back. We handle the rest by making sure everything is safely and responsibly processed.
Am I eligible for a free container?
You might be! Check with your medication provider to see if they offer a waste disposal program. If you’re not sure, you can also message us at support@pureway.com for help.
What can I dispose of?
You can safely dispose of anything sharp, like needles, lancets, and auto-injector pens. You can also include other injection-related waste such as pods, empty glass vials, and similar medical items used during your injection process.
What happens after I send it back?
Once returned, your disposal system is safely processed through an eco-friendly treatment that sorts, shreds, and reduces landfill waste. This helps keep your community and the environment protected.
Does the return shipping label ever expire?
No—our prepaid USPS return label doesn’t expire
Can I use your larger Collection Container Systems to store and return different sizes/types of collection containers?
Any FDA-approved sharps container 3 gallons and under can be stored inside of our larger (5- 8- 18- and 28-gallon) Collection Container Systems. However, if you purchased any of our smaller Collection Container Systems under 3 gallons, these should be returned together using the pre-paid return shipping box that is included with your system.
I purchased a Multi-Pack System and I want to return just one of the containers. Can I do that?
With a Multi-Pack System, you must wait until all containers have been filled before shipping your entire system back.
